Today we all went to Discovery Green in Houston, Texas to try ice skating for the FIRST time. Corbin, Reese, Hunter & Parker all got their skates on and headed to the ice. To see all the cousins in skates was so funny. Each adult took a kid and we gave it a shot! It was so much fun. Corbin was the smallest one for sure, he was very confident and not bad for a 1 year old!

my college friend and sorority sister went to be with jesus on friday, i am so so so heartbroken for her family. she will be missed so much, her two boys are so precious! brody is 2 1/2 and cash is 11 months. life is so precious and short. god has a plan for each of us, it may not be what we want, but i know god is good!

Corbin is getting cuter and cuter each day! He loves to say whatever I say. He can say - yellow, corbin, sissy, bye bye, hi dada, moma, nana, ball, waffle, and a few more words! I miss him this week, today was his 5th day in a row of daycare. He cried when I left 4 out of 5 this week. So, he is definitely still a mommy's boy! He goes to sleep in his crib very well each night, and he loves to dance and play outside!
Reese just went to the dentist with me and she has no cavities! She is getting sweeter and sweeter as she gets older. She loves to hug me and tell me "your ok mom" (mind you I am not sad when she does this) She loves her gym class and got a cute new leotard to wear. Reese is a tall lil girl and very smart for her age!

My aunt lost her battle with cancer, she is finally at peace and with Jesus! Thanks for all the love and support in this difficult time.

Albumin- serum albumin is the most abundant blood plasma protein and is produced in the liver and forms a large proportion of all plasma protein. Serum Albumin's are important in regulating blood volume by maintaining the oncotic pressure of the blood compartment.
My aunt has a very low albumin level of .9 , normal would be 4-5. (albumin also means nutrition status)
She is on NS, blood, TPN, antibiotics, anti fungals, propofol, fentanyl, and has many tubes and drains. She is fighting for her life in the ICU, the ventilator is set with PEEP.
Please pray for her wounds to heal, and her sepsis syndrome to resolve!

Dallas Trip

Chris and I are going to Stoney LaRue for date night! Yeah that should be fun!
On our Dallas trip we have my dear friend Meredith's baby shower, a date night, family fun time, and my aunts surgery. She has squamous cell carcinoma, and her surgery is called pelvic exenteration a radial surgery that removes all organs from the pelvic cavity. Please say prayers for a safe trip and for my aunt!

SeaWorld

We arrived to San Antonio Sunday at 12:00 and the SeaWorld adventure began. We went to the Shamu Theater for a show called Believe! We also saw the Beluga Whale show, after that we went to the Bay of Play (splash pad). Corbin climbed a rope net that was like 20 feet high, he is one strong 13 month old. Reese rode the shamu express roller coaster, and she enjoyed an Azul ice cream treat. We were so hot we had to go to the hotel for the night. The kids loved the hotel and had a blast at the pool. In the am back to SeaWorld. To start the day we fed the dolphin's at Dolphin Cove. Reese and Corbin didn't want to leave the dolphins. The sea star theater had a nice 4d movie, Reese loved it! The sharks, penguin encounter, alligator alley, the eels, and turtles were fun to see! Then we went to a show called The Cannery Row, it was about sea lions! All in all it was a GREAT vacation and the kids want to go back. I need a year to recover, lol. All the walking, the heat, the packing, ect. Anyone want to go with us next year?

I am in love with my two precious babies! They are so much fun. We had a fun trip to the zoo Thursday and then Friday we went again to ride the train and feed the ducks! My mom came over Saturday to help us clean the garage! Life is good, even if we had a small case of termites! lol

We went to Midlothian, Texas for Spring break 2011!!! Corbin and Reese loved swimming in Aunt Liz's pool. It was heated! They both got new Target swim suits and off we went. Lots of sunscreen and no fear for baby Corbin. I think we will have our hands full this summer with our two lil swimmers. I am getting excited for our summer trips. Padre and New York!
I wanted yall to keep my aunt Patricia in your prayers and my college friends sweet baby girl!!!

Reese has been to the dentist 3 times, this is her 4Th time! It was finally a success!!! She did all of it! She let them count, look with the mirror, poke, floss, polish, and use fluoride!
I am so proud of her! Neither of us had cavities, thank you God... and you know WE both love candy!

My aunt Patricia had emergency surgery last night. She is ok, and the doctors are not sure why she got so sick. Just say a prayer for her, she is my mom's younger sister. My mom is one of 10 kids and Patricia is #9! Also I will be posting some much needed pics hopefully tomorrow during the Superbowl! I do like football, but we watch it so much because Chris is alittle bit obsessed!

I am so cold! It was hard to get ready for work this am without my electricity! Corbin didn't seem to mind. He acted like it was a normal morning. He loves loves the flashlight!! Reese does not like the cold as much. She woke up and said, "I need my jacket." I am off tomorrow and ready to go to my eye doctor and jump and jungle!! Hope my babies are good at the eye doctor!

So while I was at work today, Reese and Corbin went to Red Robin with Daddy and Nana! I love that they get to do fun things while I am stuck at work! Corbin loves to eat mac and cheese, and Reese isn't eating much lately. All she wants to eat is waffles!!! I can't wait to play with my kids tomorrow! Thank you God for your love, and letting me love these two precious babies!

2011 is another year of lots of babies! Three of my friends have had a baby this year or are due this year. This makes me wonder, do I want a baby? The answer is....... No! I love my two babies but I am done having children. I will take my IUD out in 2015, and at that time I will make my final decision on child bearing!!

Corbin is getting his two front teeth! He will have a total of three on the bottom,(the lower left is coming) and 2 on the top! He likes to bite me, which is not good. Reese was a biter!!!! It was hard to deal with a biting child because some Mom's would get really upset with me when she bit! Which I understand!!! So hopefully Corbin will not be a biter! lol

Corbin's 1st Christmas

Corbin's first Christmas was very memorable. We traveled to Fulshear, Richmond, Irving, and Midlothian. Corbin got so many gifts and enjoyed all the family/friends! I am beyond blessed this Christmas season. I hope 2011 is filled with God, love, and laughter.
Reese's third Christmas was so exciting. She loves opening gifts and she gets so excited each time. I love dressing her for all the parties, bows are my favorite! Reese got a swingset, trampoline, barbies, basketball hoop, books, movies, stuffed animals, ect. She is a spoiled lil girl. She is definetly going through terrible two's... but she is still the cutest girl in the world!

Reese and Corbin had there Christmas party at daycare today! I am sure they had a fun day! We get to celebrate Christmas this weekend with our family!
Today I want to ask for prayers for my sweet friend Karoline's family. She passed away in 1999, and today is her bday. It is hard losing a child, especially during the holidays!
